Google-Analytics uses so-called "cookies“; these are text files that are stored on your computer and that allows us to analyse your use of the website. The information generated by the cookies about your use of this website is usually transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States.

This will cause your IP address to be shortened by Google within the member states of the European Union or in other signatory states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area before being transmitted to the USA. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP-address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there.

On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide the website operator with other services relating to website and Internet use.

This data comes from interest-related advertising by Google as well as from visitor data from third providers. This data cannot be assigned to a specific person. You can disable this feature at any time via the display settings in your Google Account or by opting out of the collection of your data through Google Analytics as described in "Opt-out of data collection".

Notes on Google AdWords and Google Conversion Tracking

Some of our website uses the Google AdWords function. In the context of Google AdWords we use the so-called conversion tracking. If you click on an ad placed by Google, a cookie will be set for conversion tracking. These cookies (small text files that the Internet browser places on the user's computer) lose their validity after 30 days and are not used to identify the user personally. If a user visits certain pages of this website while the cookie has not expired, Google and we can determine that the user has clicked on the ad and has been redirected to this page.

Each Google AdWords customer receives a different cookie. The information collected using the conversion cookie is used to generate conversion statistics for us as AdWords customers. We see the total number of users who clicked on our ad and were redirected to a page with a conversion tracking tag. However, we do not receive any information with which we could identify the user.

Conversion cookies" are stored in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 Letter f GDPR. We have a legitimate interest in analysing user behaviour in order to optimise both our website and our advertising.

The provider of these functions is Google Inc, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, United States. You can find more information on Google AdWords and Google Conversion Tracking as well as on how Google handles user data in Google's privacy policy.

If you do not wish to participate in tracking, you can object to this use by deactivating the Google Conversion Tracking cookie via your Internet browser under User Settings. You will then not be included in the conversion tracking statistics. You can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and only allow cookies in individual cases, exclude in certain cases or generally the acceptance of cookies as well as activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. When cookies are deactivated, the functionality of this website may be restricted.

4. Disclosure of personal data and data processing by third parties

We generally use personal data exclusively for internal business purposes and do not transmit data to external parties, unless this is necessary for the fulfilment of the contract, legally permissible, or if you have given your consent.

However, we may enter into contracts with other companies or persons ("processors") to perform certain tasks on our behalf. It may be necessary for us to grant processors access to personal data. Our processors are obliged to maintain the confidentiality of the personal data transmitted and may not use the information for purposes other than those specified by us. Examples of such tasks that are performed by processors are technical services, payment and delivery services, marketing, credit risk mitigation or fraud protection, analysis providers, search information providers or intra-group processing.

Any such transfer of personal data will be carried out in accordance with the applicable data protection laws and we will ensure that appropriate contractual, technical and organisational measures are in place.

5. Services or content of third parties on our website

a) Website links

For your optimal information, you will find links on our pages which refer to pages of third parties. Since these are websites of other providers, we have no influence whatsoever on their content for which the respective provider is solely responsible. This privacy statement does therefore not apply to the linked pages of third parties.

b) Tools

Our website uses functions of various tools to increase the functionality of our website.

Notes on Google Web Fonts

Our website uses the "Web Fonts" function provided by Google to ensure a consistent display of fonts. When you visit a page, your browser loads the required web fonts into your browser cache to display texts and fonts correctly. To do this, the browser you are using connects to the servers of Google. This will let Google know that your IP address has been used to access our website.

The use of Google Web Fonts is in the interest of a uniform and appealing presentation of our online offers. This represents a legitimate interest according Art. 6 Para. 1 Letter f GDPR. If your browser does not support web fonts, a default font will be used by your computer.

The provider of this function is Google Inc, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. For more information about Google's handling of user data, please see Google's privacy policy.

Notes on Google Maps

Our website uses functions of the Google Maps map service. It is necessary to save your IP address in order to use the functions of Google Maps. This information can be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. We have no influence on this data transmission.

We use Google Maps for an appealing presentation of our online offers and to make it easy to find the locations we have indicated on the website. This represents a legitimate interest in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 Letter f GDPR.

The provider of this function is Google Inc, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. For more information about Google's handling of user data, please see Google's privacy policy.

c) Social plug-ins

Our website then uses functions of various so-called social plug-ins ("buttons"), social media (e.g. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Youtube or LinkedIn) to enable users of these social media platforms to create links on their social media profiles in order to save them or to share them with their social media contacts.

When you visit our website, the buttons for such social media are disabled by default. No data will be sent to the respective social networks without your intervention. Before you can use these buttons, you must activate them by clicking on them. They will then remain active until you deactivate them again.

Once activated, a direct connection to the social network server will be established. The content of the button is then transmitted directly from the social network to your browser and integrated into the website. After activating a button, the social network can retrieve data regardless of whether you interact with the button or not. If you are logged in to a social network, the network can assign your visit to your account.

If you are a user of a social network and do not want to have data from your visit to our website combined with your user data, you must log out of the respective social network before activating the buttons.

We have no influence on the amount of data that are collected by social networks via their buttons. The social networks' data use policies provide information about the purpose and extent of the data they collect, how that data is processed and used, the rights available to you and the settings you can use to protect your privacy. For further information on the extent and purpose of such collection and processing of your data, please refer to the data protection information of the providers whose services and / or content we hold responsible for the protection of your data in this context.

6. Deletion of personal data

These general rules apply insofar as we have not specified any special retention periods in this data protection statement:

Your data will be deleted as soon as they are no longer required for the intended purposes or if you revoke your consent or object to a use for legitimate reasons. Beyond this period, data is only stored if this is required by a statutory provision relevant to us (e.g. tax and commercial law regulations) or if data is required to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

7. Security

All information you provide to us is stored on servers within the European Union. We attach particular importance to ensuring an adequate level of data protection in the respective country.

We use appropriate technical and organisational security measures to protect your data against accidental or intentional manipulation, partial or complete loss, destruction or against unauthorised access by third parties. Our security measures are continuously improved and adapted in accordance with technological developments.

However, we would like to point out that data transmission over the Internet (e.g. communication by e-mail) may be vulnerable to security flaws. A complete protection of the data against access from third parties is not possible.

8. Changes to the data protection statement

This privacy statement may be subject to change due to, for example, changes in the law or changes in processing. We therefore ask you to read this page regularly.

Liability

On our website, you will also find links to other websites on the Internet. We would like to point out that we have no influence on the design and content of the linked pages. We can therefore accept no liability for the topicality, correctness, completeness or quality of the information provided there. With this in mind, we hereby distance ourselves from all contents of these pages. This statement applies to all links to external sites and their contents contained on our website.
